This will be the 2nd season for this particular sedum. It's nestled among some rather large boulders at our newish firepit/patio area, and is doing well.
I want to live in a world where the chicken can cross the road without its motives being questioned.

So, it is as tough as they say? I read where it will even handle some foot traffic.

Not sure about foot traffic yet. I've started by just putting in sedums at the edges of the patio and plan to let them creep toward the center if they will. Likely some will be better than others at that. So far, weeding between the flagstones has not been too daunting - we laid a pretty thick bed of gravel and sand so mostly I'm just getting those tenacious weeds (like dandelions) that will try to grow just about anywhere.
I want to live in a world where the chicken can cross the road without its motives being questioned.

I love what goldfinch does. She uses a small paint brush and carefully paints the leaves of the offending week. Kills it to the root without disturbing the roots of the desired plants.
