Hi, I'm new to growing pole beans. I have a few varieties growing on a trellis made of plastic netting.

First question, is it OK to have more than one plant climbing the same thread of the trellis? Most of mine have two or three. I put some twine in between to give more paths but am not sure if I should prune to have only on climber per thread?

Second, it appears that the highest plant has now sort of curled and stopped climbing. Is this how you know they have reached full height? The plant is at about 6 feet now, the variety is supposed to grow 6 to 7 feet.

Thanks. Can't wait for fresh beans!

Yes I think it's ok. Mine is even more dense than that and I harvested tons of them already.

They're looking good. I'd just let'em grow as they will.
