A friend of mine pulled these Cardboard Palm pups from her work before the landscapers could mow them over. She knows about my plant habit and was cackling about feeding my obsession.

I'm so pleased. Now, I just need to read up on their indoor care.
I have found that coffee, tea, and rose can all agree on one thing... water everyday.

put them in sunny window. they need mix with good drainage. but they grow ultra slow: 2 leaves a year. some people grow them as bonsai indoors.
i've sprouted seeds several times and grew them for sev years. it's not very satisfying ;), but! if they spend summer outdoors (part shade) they speed up considerably.

They've been in mostly shade outdoors since I got them. I'm not surprised about the growth rate considering they are cycads. We have a massive cycad at the end of the driveway that came with the house. I don't think it's changed, at all, in the last 30 years.

I'm hoping to put them in morning sun as soon as it starts to cool off.

I'm still waiting on that one. Sad
