This is my first post on these forums. I'm making a mobile game for gardeners that allows you to level up in-game by gardening in real life. It will have an array of features and will be integrated in the most convenient way possible. I'm not a gardener myself, and that's why I need some info from you folks. I am soon to be a gardener though! As this is my first post I am not able to post a link to the survey I created, so, please message me for the link!

Also, feel free to tell me your thoughts on a gardening game that allows you to level up from growing plants in real life! Does such an idea seem interesting? What would you like to see in such an app?

I actually played for awhile a mobile gardening game which was connected to my fitness watch. The more walking I do, the more energy I get recorded and acts as reward for me to be able to plant and expand my virtual garden accessed thru my smartphone.

It will show me how much energy points I need to accumulate to be able to choose a particular virtual plant, before I can plant it in my virtual garden. A good motivation to walk about indeed for me then I changed my smartwatch so it meant no longer playing the game. But it sure was fun at that time.

Wow that's interesting! Can you recall the name of the game? The purpose of my game is to encourage real-life gardening through the means of rewarding in-game. Would you be interested in the survey I spoke about, I can DM it to you?

Ah, that's okay, I am not really a gamer, I just happened to play it since it was in the smartwatch app I was using then. But do keep us informed how it goes. Good luck!

Btw, you may want to look into Farmville, it has been around for quite awhile already, most FB users knows it and many of my old friends were addicted playing it, though I never tried it. As far as I know it is a game that enables the player to cultivate and manage his virtual farm and farm animals.
