I want to program my new Orbit 62061Z Single-Outlet hose water timer to operate every other day. I will be coordinating it with another timer that I want to operate every other day too, but on alternating days. So, the new one would operate on a certain day, then the other timer operate the next day at that same time, then the new one the third day, and so forth.

My question is: Suppose I want to set my new timer to operate every other day from 1:00 am to 3:00 am. If I program it at 3:00 pm, setting it for number of days = 2, which I assume means every other day, will the timer valve open for the first time ten hours after I set it?

Thanks,
Bill

After receiving mixed answers from respondents at Amazon's customer-Q&A page for the Orbit 62061Z Single-Outlet hose water timer, I sent an email to Orbit's customer service. A reply was quickly received.

My Query: If I program my Orbit timer at 3 pm to start every other day at 1 am, will the timer valve open for the 1st time ten hours after I set it? Or 34 hours?

Response: Thank you for contacting Orbit product support. My name is Lindsay H. and I will be assisting you today. It will start at the next possible start time, which would be ten hours after you set it.

Best Regards,
Lindsay H.
