I don't have any idea if these are named. I just name them after who gave them to me. So the first one is Kathy Deep Pink and Orange and the second one is Larry's Rainbow. I'm in Socal (Orange County) so if anyone wants to trade next season let me know.

Question- I've been fertilizing with Dr Earth Tropical this spring / summer but is there something better I should be using? For the first year, I fertilized with a high nitrogen fertilizer as I wanted them to grow up and not out.

Also, a few have what I would call taco leaves, is that from a pest or not enough water? They are otherwise healthy and growing, and a couple of inflos so not really worried... I'm just wondering if they need something.

Wow, killer flowers. I use Vigoro Bold Blooms 15-30-15 on my plants during bloom season. With the heat wave we're having my bigger plants need water everyday. Not sure about the taco leaves. They do look healthy tho.
Love the flowers😎

Thanks! Watering pots everyday or planted in the ground? All my potted ones are doing well. I water the pots every other day recently. But a couple in the ground have this issue. I water those twice a week. I'll try to take a pic when I get home. Maybe they do need some more water... I have a few others in the ground and don't have the issue.

You can see in the second photo of Larry's top leaf is just not open all the way.

Is the little bit of browning indicating it needs more water?

Watering pots everyday, usually leaves turn yellow from lack of water.

This is a picture of my Alchemy plant, looks just like your Kathy deep pink and orange. Very similar with the gold specs on the flower.
Your names better tho.

Your flowers are absolutely gorgeous! How fragrant are they?

I'm in Redondo Beach. This summer I purchased cuttings from a grower in La Habra Heights and the cuttings I purchased should someday have flowers similar to your Larry's Rainbow. It's a Kimo seedling he named B-52 and I just hope it's just as beautiful as what you have. Growing plumerias require so much patience. I am glad for this forum so we can share each others beauties!

You mentioned in another post that you had some seed pods that opened, have you started any? I have Pop's Red seedlings I just started. I am definitely open to trading.
