Thread OP

I currently have a Hall's Magnum 8X14 twin wall polycarbonate greenhouse. I grow mainly Orchids. vanda and cattleya. I also overwinter several bougainvillea. I heat the greenhouse in the winter with small electric space heaters, and fans for air movement. In the late spring, I move the plants outdoors to a shade house.
I need more room/space and would like to add permanent natural gas heat and some cooling capability. Initially I am thinking at something sized around 16 x 24 (or30). Due to the vanda's, I need height/hanging capability. I have been looking at the Scholar Series by Atlas, the Micro-farm by Jaderloon, the Wallace premium educational greenhouse, and the teacher series by Merchney. Does anyone have any experience with one of these greenhouses? And help or feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @marksorchids and welcome to the forum Welcome!

Sorry, I don't have any experience with either of these greenhouses. Perhaps someone will come along...

When I wanted a large greenhouse with as close to a 20 ft ceiling as I could get I looked at all the options available at the time (2003) and ultimately had one built from scratch by a company in Central FL who builds them. Its 36 x 48 and I have always been happy with it. The purchase price back then included a 250 BTU propane heater, 4 ft x 4 ft exhaust fans, a temp controller, HAF fans in the attic. I had a sprinkler system installed extra. It was definitely the right choice for me
