My Sedona plant is finally blooming. This plant has had more "bud drop" then any plant I've ever had. Very discouraging to see so many buds drop during the height of the season. I bought this from the nursery in San Marcos 3 years ago. (Jungle jacks) Over half of the buds drop. I've tried under watering, over watering, fertilizers, every year it grows inflows but less then half bloom.
Anyone else have this problem😎

That's a shame, I hate losing buds. I have one variety "Pop's Red", that I was told to keep out of afternoon sun because it will cause bud drop. I planted it where it gets morning sun and shade the rest of the day, it's about to bloom so we'll see if it works.

Let me know if that works for you, I'll try anything at this point, its the only plant that does that out of 20 so it's nothing I'm doing wrong. It kills me to see 30,40,50 buds drop and only 10 open. Please keep me posted.😎

Unfortunately I do not have any help I just sympathize. I had first year blooms, but once they fully bloomed they only lasted 2-3 days and then dropped. It was very disappointing. I do not know what went wrong.
