I have a pond about two yards wide, fifteen yards long and about four feet to six feet deep with a waterfall at one end. Currently I have a 750 watt pump which is to busy and all I want is a gentle flow that gives us a running water noise. Would anyone care to make a suggestion as to an appropriate pump size?

For gentle flow, you most likely need a fairly compact type of pump.
