I don't know if the OP of this image meant to put it under cooperi but it's definitely not any form of cooperi. Looks more like a retusa or turgida.

I agree, the plant looks like one of the plants you described. The member who posted this image has not been back in a couple of years, so I will propose moving this image to the genus entry.
