Thread OP

Hi, have a strange issue that just appeared earlier this week. Noticed the top leaves on my Carolina Reaper plant drooping (1st pic). I didnt think it was overwatered but to be safe I let it dry out for a few days until the leaves started drooping in a way that indicated it needed water, I then watered as normally yesterday. Today the droop has gotten even worse. Upon inspecting the bottom of one of the dried out sections, I saw these little bumps. Any thoughts? I cant see any pests, have checked it thoroughly. First pic is from last week, the rest are from today. Thanks!!

Edit: I should mention I've been considering edema, but I've been watering fairly regularly, suppose that could be it though?

I don't see drooping leaves but I do see leaf curl, which is usually caused by environmental factors, usually watering unbalances in the ground.
Typical problem for potted plants is having the top few inches of soil bone dry while the bottom of the rootball is moist or even soaking wet, but wide temperature fluctuations (hot days/cool nights, heatwave followed by a sudden cold spell etc) can also cause leaf curl.

Generally speaking leaf curl is merely a cosmetic issue: it won't affect how a plant develops not its production down the road, but the damage cannot be reversed short of pinching the affected leaves.
