Thread OP

I had to transplant my plumeria. At the time it had rusty mildew on the leaves. I sprayed the plant good when I transplanted. Now all the leaves are dying off and some stems are turning mushy green. Should I cut the stems that are rotting and will the plant possibly survive?

I would definitely go ahead and strip all those leaves off. Any branches that are squishy as well. Just cut off till you see clean white sap. Then cross your fingers and hope it makes it. They are pretty resilient.
Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better.

Wow, just what product did you use for the rust and under what conditions (dry soil? hot temps? sunny?). I try to water plants before using chemicals and apply it on mild cloudy days only. Usage of some products is a problem during the summer as my temps are easily in the 90s, 100s.
