Alex, you are right. Space and labor are in short supply so any plants that can no longer excite me will have to be culled. It is still hard for me to see a perfectly healthy plant goes into the trash, but I feel so much lighter after it is gone and done.
Good luck with your fernleaf, Annie! Sunny location, very well drain soil and mulching in the summer should help it thrive, I believe. I have such a location for it ready to go next year.
