The cooler weather here in Zone-7b will force me to bring my Adeniums and various other Fat-Plants, indoors for their long winter naps. I don't want any seen or unseen insects coming in with the plants and sucking the life out of them.
So...I need recommendations for a good, effective, soil drench to kill fungus gnats, nematodes, root aphids, mealy bugs, etc. All my plants look clean and show no signs of any insects, but I want to play it safe. I need a soil drench/systemic insecticide that won't harm my plants...organic insecticides, if possible. I could use (Imidacloprid) Bonide sytemic- insecticide, as a drench...but it stinks, real bad!
Would Pyrethrum, B-T, Neem oils, citrus oils, Murphy's Oil Soap, Cayenne Pepper, Cinnamon, Garlic, yada, yada, yada....work?
I need to drench the soil, quickly. Night temps are now going into the low 50*F, so I don't have any time to waste. I will apply the soil-drench BEFORE plants come into the house.
Any suggestions?
