I've had to downsize to only 50 in my retirement garden here in Chapel Hill, NC, but think I can squeeze in 50 more!

Melanie ~ Welcome! to the Iris Forum! Hurray!

You will fit right in here. As many (or most) of us have more than our allotted space.

How long have you been growing them and which ones are your favorites?

Welcome! Melanie. How many iris did you use to have? What are some of the favorites that you saved? Some day we may all have to make those decisions!

Thread OP

I have probably grown more than 500 irises between four gardens in Virginia and one in Monterey. Now in NC I'd like to have 75+ but it will be a challenge. The most at one time - probably 100. Faves: COLETTE, CLOUD BALLET, CONCERTINA (I), VICTORIA FALLS, all the pinks are pretty. Oh yes, and the yellows and purples! If I could only have one I guess it would be HOLLYWOOD NIGHTS. Hope I never have to make that pick Crying
