hello y'all

Any recommendations for a small greenhouse to house my cactus in, I really want to start keeping my collection in more light and hopefully obtain some variety (size). Keeping the cactus indoors is okay but I think the growth and blooms will be greatly improved if kept in a greenhouse.

I have been looking at some 6 x 6 greenhouses on Amazon around the $600 range and it seems that they are a real pain to assemble from what people are saying, but this is most likely the way I would have to go due to space and budget - but maybe there is something someone could share that's better.

I live in an area that get a lot of rain - all year so I was unsure about humidity - I would be able to put a heater in the greenhouse for the winter and also fans.

thanks
Bill

I purchased a 6X8 greenhouse kit this summer from Harbor Freight (350.00 on sale) It was to replace a 6X6 (500.00) one that I have had for ten years because I needed more room. My first greenhouse kit was bought from Greenhouse Megastore.
Neither of the greenhouses had great directions, but there are videos on YouTube that are VERY detailed and helpful in constructing these kits and that's what we used. Both went together pretty easily with that help. Take a look online and see if they put your mind at ease.
As for the quality of the kits...the first one was surprisingly sturdy and tight...never had a problem with it in the years I used it. The new one has a few design flaws...poor insulation around the front door and a few small gaps here and there, but nothing some caulk and insulating tape can't fix. For the price I am very happy with it.
I have a heater on a timer for some of our cold nights...no problem.
I use my greenhouse mostly for cactus as well though I do start seeds and cuttings in it.
Don't know how I got along without it for so long! Go for it!

Plants stored in greenhouses need special care. They are grown in a climate controlled space because they cannot tolerate environmental extremes. Keeping the interior of the greenhouse at a constant temperature and humidity level is crucial to the survival of the plants. We can work with any nursery or greenhouse humidifier system. A Smart Fog fogger, misting, or cooling system helps to maintain the strict range of conditions for optimal plant growth.
