I have to dig up my Roseheart for dividing and replanting in a different location because it is too big and tall for its present location. I just want to share what it looks like after 3 years of growth. I planted it in Oct. 2017.

Eyes are concentrated in the center of clump. This will make it a bit harder to divide.

Wow, that is a good size for three years and the pale ivory eyes look wonderful. It was generous of you to help out the APS.

Dividing peonies is a fun puzzle. I don't know about you Karen, but a sharp 4" hunting knife has become my go-to dividing tool.

Wow, Karen, it is huge! And hard to divide. Good luck! Amazing how fast it grew! I am sure the person who won the root will be very pleased.

Thanks everyone! I was able to get 1 clump size division, 1 large division, and 2 small divisions out of this root. Luckily the person who won the auction lives in a bordering state so it should not cost me too much to send them the large division of this peony and Juliska (which is also a large one) to them.
