I had this marked as Pink Frost, but I think that may be incorrect. Big Grin Still pretty, though.

Could very well be Pink Frost which opens creamy white and matures to pink , just try giving it some time.

I agree you could pot them up if it's too cold to plant. Green Grin!

I leave mine right in their small pots over winter, and put them under the pine trees, or up against the house. They are very hardy. Well, at least most of them, I don't know the species on these. Can't wait to see them all in bloom.

Wow spring, those new hellebore are showing lots of buds. Beautiful, healthy looking plants.

It is very exciting to see everyone's photos. I feel spring in the air and looking forward to seeing mine bloom.

This was my very favorite hellebore. I would love to get another one of these.

I still have this one in my woodland. I haven't seen any buds yet.

This one I got last Nov and stuck it in the ground when I got it home. It looks like it has a bud?

Last summer I had some one come help in cleaning up the beds. Had to go into town for something. When I came back everything in the bed was gone. I wanted to cry. That Hellebore had finally reached maturity. I got it when I went to Heronswood in Kingston, WA with my mom. They were having their annual open house. It was the year before they sold to Burpee.

Thank you Jo Ann.

I think when the sun comes out I'll go check the ones in the woodland, to see if they are doing anything yet.

I had cleaners too.I didnt know or didnt remember to check which plants needed cutting. It was teeming down rain when I walked them thru and said no cutting to Oriental Poppies or iris or lavender.
Later I found out helebores shouldnt be cut.I could have slit my own throat. The men did what I told them but I was wrong and have no one to blame but me.
I am hoping the Helebores that were cut will grow new leaves. They ARE growing bud s. I will do my own cleaning from now on and take longer to do because its so tiring.
The hard stuff are the lilies.

Lynn: do you see any sign of leaves on your cut ones?
