So today a package arrived - my boyfriend wanted to surprise me and got us an Anthurium Crystallinum. However, there seem to be yellow spots on one of the leaves that I have never seen in my life. It seems that the seller that my boyfriend got that plant from, omitted showing this leaf in particular.

I am attaching photos. Could anyone please tell me if this is fungal or bacterial? I am now a bit worried that if this plant has a disease that it might spread to the rest of my plants, ugh. Thank you in advance for your time!

the first thing I will say is...you got it TODAY. It needs a little time to acclimate to your surroundings

and #2...this pitting thing seems to be something that crystallinum can do. I don;t think your plant is diseased (I am not a botanist so I can;t say for certain) but it doesn;t look diseased to me.

Since it is a brand new plant from someone;s unknown growing situation, I would follow the age old practice of quarantining it from the rest of your collection
