Love the way this created a nearly seamless sea of sunny blooms, Fleur. Lots of potential food for the birds, too. I hadn't realized until now that you, too, are located in Michigan

Sunflowers are a garden favorite here. The blooms have the unique fragrance of a sweet honey aroma. The seeds keep my winter bird population well fed through cold, snowy weather. And they are beautiful just to grow in the back of the garden! A winning combination all around.
