Another great composite type flower to complement @Fleur569's recent sunflower banner. Yours is very 'in your face', while hers was a 'strength in numbers' style. Even though your flower isn't actually a sunflower, it certainly has the look of one. It's a new species to me, so that's a bonus in my book.

Initially I had it mistaken it for Inula helenium, a bitter root herb. Good thing i had my doubts though, this one is not usable...
