I know noone has answered, but almost all of my daylilies are diamond dusted. It would be hard to pick one, and it isnt a characteristic that stands out without the sun . I know Guy Pierce is big on saying his daylilies are diamond dusted, and that they are.

Daylilies & hardy hibiscus
Whistler's Lane and Apricot Sparkles are both heavily dusted, although perhaps it's "gold dusting" rather than diamond dusting because the flowers are yellow and peach.

I've noticed diamond/gold dusting on many cultivars with descriptions that don't include it, but not to the pronounced degree of these two cultivars.

Hardy hibiscus are a hobby, but daylilies are an obsession.

Diamond dusting was pretty uncommon until the 1980's. It was the recently late Jeff Salter, and some other breeders such as Dan Trimmer and Pat Stamile that started to produce a lot of cv.'s that were dusted. Yes, sunlight is needed to fully appreciate that quality, especially early morning light.
