I think it's probably time to do a real hard prune.

What do you want to do that for? It is a happy plant... let it grow. If you insist on cutting it back at least offer them cuttings on this group.

Before hard freeze. Make it more manageable to cover. Plus, it will be this big again by late spring early summer. I'd definitely give all of it away if people wanted. I've already had a few neighbors ask me about it.

Oh my god, your Brugmansia is beautiful, would you be willing to send a couple seed pods to someone in Canada for postage fees? Or a seed swap perhaps?

Beautiful pink! Mine have trouble with insects and are just now starting to look good. No blooms yet.

The only insect problem that I usually have with it is spider mites. Occasionally hungry caterpillars. I rotate between floramite sc and minx miticides whenever applicable. Does the trick and lasts for a couple months.
