I have had a few irises that lean like this--they don't stay long in my garden as I don't want to go to the trouble of staking them. Hopefully all you did was rotate the image!

'You are so observant, Laurie. Indeed I manipulated the cropping tool to get as much of the blooms and buds within the dimensions needed. The iris' are by nature, of a vertical stature.
A beautiful shout out to all the iris lovers in the garden.org community. Your comment about rotating the cropping selection should encourage others to get similarly creative with their submissions for site banners. π

Rotating and cropping images can indeed be tricky and requires a high skill level. Focus, lighting and weather are factors also which are shown in this banner. Nice work Fleur!
