This bloom was identified for me as an Herbertia lahue in another forums. The bloom lasts only a few hours...

Iḿ sorry I wrote the name with a mistake and I cannot correct it. It is Herbertia lahue not Herbetia lihue as I wrote.
Could some of the administrators correct it please?

I like this one very much; they have come back every year for me. They were 'accidentally' planted by an animal, I presume, in my parents' backyard in the grass.
I found them blooming and dug them up. They were quite hard to dig up since they buried themselves deeply.
