Hi we live in the Los Angeles area and do get a good amount of afternoon sun. Our plumeria plant was repotted and repositioned a couple of months ago and has been developing some dry, brown spots mostly on the edges of the leaves. My husband says we are watering too much but to me it seems the plant is getting too much sun and maybe not enough water. Would appreciate your advice.
Thanks so much!

A well established plant cannot get too much sun. As for water, it's better to be drier then wetter to avoid rotting. This is the time of year when they will start dropping leaves and stop growing new leaves. I'm in San Diego and all my plants are starting to turn brown and drop leaves. When the leaves fall off you should stop watering them as they will go dormant over winter. I may water mine lightly once a month but they really don't need it.
Hope this help😎
