I love these guys. @piksihk Do you dig your tubers on occasion? I know those I have in a container will pull themselves to the bottom of the pot. I've often wondered what happens when they are in the ground. Confused

They pull themselves to the desired depth and remain there. They do not end up in China! Although they may exist there too. Bulb plants that produce seeds start out at the surface just like non-bulb plants.

@pod, they are in the ground and I've not dug them up since. @hostasmore, mine have not dug under to China yet, but they have moved further every which way.
They're done for this year- cold got to them.
