I grow a lot of anthuriums from seed. I am lucky to have some plants that make fruit and I am able to harvest and raise them. This is a new batch of one I have never raised before, its a hybrid of Anthurium clarinervium x Anthurium Faustinomirandae. I did not make this hybrid, it self pollinated apparently. I obtained 35 seeds from this plant and of those, I have 27 nice sized seedlings, 6 seeds that have just sprouted, and 2 seeds that have not germinated yet. These are my seedlings

There is quite a bit of subtle variation in the individuals. Some are heart shaped, some more elongate, some have wider sinuses like Faust, some narrow almost nonexistent sinuses like Clari.

Only time will tell what they will grow up to look like.
These are representative parents of the hybrid...Anthurium faustinomirandae

This is the plant that made the seeds, the hybrid of the above 2

SO, it will be interesting to follow these seedlings as they progress and see what they grow in to

They grow pretty fast. Different species have different growth rates. Mine grow year round because they are in a warm greenhouse

I've been gifted 3 Anthurium Warocqueanum seeds, do you have any specific recommendations for them? With 3, my chances are low but possible, any help is appreciated Gina! Thanks so much!

I don't think they are any more difficult than any other Anthurium. I have heard that the seeds are very small, and can take a long time to germinate. I have 2 Warocs, but have never been able to get mine pollinated. But I have managed to pollinate other plants with its pollen.
