Connie, It's such wonderful news to hear that Steve's beautiful Exotic Rainforest collection is in good hands. I look forward to seeing your photo's of the conservatory! I bet Steve would have loved the addition of the waterfall, koi pond and birds.

Several years ago Steve approached me to help convince John Wiersema of USDA Plants GRIN that Epipremnum aureum and Epipremnum pinnatum were not synonyms, but were distinct species. Steve sent descriptions and I sent photos from wild plants in Hawai'i, which in turn convinced John to list the two plants in separate entries.
to all steve's family/friends and coworkers. I never knew him but I do know how it feels to loose someone special. and his collection was pretty awesome.
