I'd love some input on this question.............................................

What gardening book or film would you most like to get for Christmas?

Inquiring minds want to know....................................................

There's two books I've had my eye on for some time. The first is Epic Tomatoes, by Craig Lehollier, who introduced the Cherokee Purple tomato to SESE and the world. Everything you need to know to grow great tomatoes. Based on growing tomatoes in North Carolina in hot, humid conditions, so perfect for us in Arkansas. $29.95
The second is Seed to Seed, Saving our vegetable Heritage by Suzanne Ashworth. Complete book on saving seed, dynamics of pollination, and more.covers all veggies. $24.95
Both of these books are available through the Southern Exposure Seed Exchange.
They have many good books, and feature books for growing in hot, humid climates. They also carry books form indigenous peoples, books about composting, etc. A great source for many different gardening books.
And seeds, too!

All I want for Christmas is even more plants in my house and, above all, for my cacti to recover. Somehow I can't get along with them. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, because it's already the 3rd cactus that is dying for me - I water it badly
I water more badly too.
I hope my wish will come true this year Rolling my eyes.

Welcome! I killed cactus for years until I learned to give them as much direct sun as I could, both outside in the summer and inside in the winter. In the winter I only water them about every 6 weeks or so. Sometimes even less. 😁
