Just got it in the mail today. Lots of new beautiful new cultivars. Give it a look and tell us what you like the best. I find myself drawn to anything Stanek, like Patricia Jean; Bremer, Queen of Diamonds; Lembrose, Swenson Gardens; Seidl, Elizabeth Black; Waltz, Dixon's Dream; Stanek, Anna; and the itoh Castlegar by Jakubowski. They are all droolworthy. Maybe one day I can afford them in the future. Things to look forward to.

The new ones are typically so expensive that they give most people pause--breeders can justify it as a business expense I guess!

Elizabeth Black is such fun. The pointy petals and slight colour gradation are very striking. 2031 wishlist is started 😜

Yeah, maybe by 2031 it'll come down in price enough and not sell out so quickly!

Gary, is that from the peony society? is it possible to post a picture or 2? Is it worth joining the society? (I am such a reluctant joiner, it took me 6 months of lurking to join...not sure why everyone is wonderful!)

Queen of Diamonds, $500, at this price I prefer Kansas. Frankly, this newbie can't tell the difference.

Pretty selections, but I simply dont have room to even think about Herbaceous really, it is nice to look.

Annie, APS is well worth the money. Just the access to the multiple auctions and the seed program are the cost.

I finally got a chance to look at the Directory. I agree, lots of really pretty peonies! But why are they registering those single pinks? They look like the other ones already registered!
