I'm trying to think of ways I could have a blackout curtain automatically expand and retract either inside or outside my greenhouse.
I keep running into dead ends. I was thinking maybe convert a garage door motor and track inside, but I still feel theres flaws there.
Maybe a simple motor mounted on top outside that can roll up the curtain and release it to let gravity unroll covering the greenhouse. But how would it release automatically or reverse?
A system of pulleys to move the curtain across. But how will it retract?
Anyone have any thoughts or ideas?
