Keeping Fingernails Clean

By Skiekitty
December 29, 2012

When your toothbrush gets too spongy to clean your teeth, don't throw it out. A toothbrush works great for cleaning dirt from under fingernails and can be easily carted around in your back pocket when you're out in the garden or transplanting a potted plant. Fingernails appreciate softer toothed bristles and they don't ingrain the dirt.

Great idea for the toothbrush. Thumbs up Our toothbrushes usually do double duty in the kitchen to clean hard to reach places. They are also great for cleaning grout lines.
Any day you wake up on the sunny side of the grass is a good day.

Arf - You can have your nails cut to the quick and still get dirt embedded under them. Trust me, I normally have filthy filthy nails all summer, no matter HOW short I cut them!

I tip my hat to you. Rolling on the floor laughing .Ok, if dirt can get embedded in the quick then you really do need a tooth brush. Hilarious!

I dunno.. wouldn't the effervescence work for embedded dirt like hydrogen peroxide? Do they still make them in blue pills that turn everything blue? My mom uses those, but I don't.. I still have all my toofies.
