What is your favorite watermelon for flavor?

Production amounts don't have to be high... flavor is paramount!

We grow Georgia Rattlesnake every year. It's been by far the best tasting watermelon we've found (but we haven't tried many!)

I have really liked one called Songria, It has done well for me for the past two seasons, getting 4 or 6 ripe melons on each vine. I have given some of these to my friends and they tell me it's by far the best tasting melon they have ever eaten.

At 87 days, Sangria's a good choice for consideration.

Sangria is about as tasty as any of the hybrid Allsweet types.I think the Open pollinated Legend is as good. My favorite is almost impossisble to find today, AU Sweet Scarlet. Of the icebox types I prefer Micky Lee and Wilson Sweet to Sugar Baby.
