Hello all, i just recived this wonderfull anthurium angamarcanum, during shipping leaves had some damage, probably due to cold climate, other plant are in perfect condition but anthurium had some mold on paper around soil, and had extensive damage on all 5 leaves apart 1. The strange thing is leaves are dry but green, usually all my other stressed anthurium becomed yellow not green. Any idea about damage cause? Maybe himidity?
Thanks all for any help

I do have this plant and I have to day it is among the most picky finicky anthuriums I have ever grown. It does not take kindly to any stress.

Thank you very much, Gina, your advice is always valuable. You keep it outside in florida or in greenhouse/terrarium? i ve noticed after 1 night with 90% humidity anthurium taken back some color. Thank You!

I keep it in my greenhouse. Humidity there rarely drops below 70%, even in winter, because I have extensive water features incorporated out there which provide humidity through evaporation. In summer the humidity is 90-100% daily. Its very difficult to actually work in the greenhouse in summer for any long period of time. I got this plant from another collector as a trade. It was a nice plants with an extensive healthy root system. It came well packed in damp moss. It did not have to stay long in the box, even though it came from Ohio to FL...it got here in 3 days. But it was stressed from shipping. It took a while to perk back up. After it got back to normal, I repotted it into a coir lined hanging basket. It sulked for a few days but then came back.I have had it now for a long period, I will take a photo of it. I have concluded that they simply don;t like to be disturbed. My Anthurium papillilaminums are the same way. They take a long while to get back to normal after their roots are disturbed.

Yes I use a lot of coir liners filled with substrate. I have not tried to hybridize it yet but if the possibility arises I will
