Can't tell which end is which. Hilarious!
I'm guessing the head is on the right.

Have you tried to raise them?
We were able to get ~50 butterflies a few
years ago, but it was very expensive to keep
enough milkweed available. Rolling my eyes.

Now we keep milkweed in the garden, and let
nature take its course. Crossing Fingers! Whistling Crossing Fingers!

I can't tell the in from the out until the caterpillar eats. Confused

No, I don't raise monarchs, but I like the idea of keeping a stand of milkweeds so the butterflies can enjoy an unbroken migration.
