What would you use to pollinate a Persian Green Plum, aka Goje Sabz, aka (I'm pretty sure) Greengage? I live in Central Texas so if needs to be a plum suitable for here.

My husband is Iranian and he really loves Persian Green Plums, but you can't get them here unless you grow them.

According to Willis Orchards, Persian Green is self fertile. if so you don't need a pollenizer. Seems to be popular and multiple nurseries say self fertile.

I have a green gage in the Bay Area(zone 9) by itself, it's so fruitful, it doesn't have a pollinator even, it's so good. I'm trying to grow it here, zone 10, not sure I will be successful.
