So pretty and strange, such shy blooms. These just look like they would smell bad. Have you managed to get your nose down in there?

They're at the soil level, so very easy to miss.

It's possible that I missed mine. I don't have a plant of it now. I sold them all when we left to live overseas.

I have several Aspidestras in pots and it is so easy to miss the flowers, I saw some when my plants were new and the pots were not so full but now it is close to impossible to see them. This pic was taken many years ago and it was magnified many times over, you can tell by how large the particles of soil look.
