Oops. I see this is the sedum forum. Please feel free to move to succulant forum. Sorry about that.

These are two of my husband's succulents. They are both some sort of Echeveria. He's been bringing them into the garage at night here in zone 7. But several of them have developed what I call white mold. So far it doesn't seem to have hurt them, just looks.

He sprayed with Neem oil and much of the white fuzz turned black; otherwise no change.

Could it be too much water during the winter. I appreciate any discussion on this.

It's okay I think. I mean, there's a petrosedum (still considered sedum...) back there...

So first I reccomend seperating and qaurantining the affected plant(s) so it doesnt spread. Looks like mealybugs to me.

The echeveria is a Nodulosa. The back one is probably some kind of agavoides.

Hi Flowers, I agree with Alex. Isolate them. I can see what looks like Mealybugs. Another pest to watch out for is aphids, they love the echeveria blooms. Here is a good way to get rid of the pest:
