I thought you were joking about A forgettii but I guess it is a real name. Hilarious!
It's always nice to see seedlings. It will be fun to see them grow.

This is Mama Forgetii

The hallmark of forgetii is that it doesn't have a sinus (a split at the top)

Thank you ladies! Its one of my favorites. I am raising so many seedlings. I also got another one in a trade from a friend here is Gainesville...mine is considered a 'dark form'...it can get almost black later in the spring/summer when there is a lot more light than winter
Thumb of 2021-03-15/Gina1960/bff453

the one I got as a trade is a much lighter green form. It just put out a new leaf
Thumb of 2021-03-15/Gina1960/806fdb

and I planted a few seeds in the pot that came from my dark form so it will be a multi pot and I can better compare the color difference

Sometimes. Some plants have the ability to self pollinate. Anthurium vittariifolium, crystallinum and clarinervium do, so can forgetii and some others. Some I try are cross myself with others

Really though. How did that plant get that name? Were they drinking too much Cola back in 1906? Did they forget the samples on the dock?

@Gina1960 congrats with new growth. Did you cross pollinate them yourself?
