Ditto from the multiple above posters, I'm actually amazed how easily I detect your photos as they stand out in your frequent banner settings. Smiling I'm placing out my spring bulbs soon, perhaps within the next two weeks after cooler weather sets in and the ground gets some moisture from our first rains. Its raining outside, for us after months of dry dry weather it is such a sense of relief! Thumbs up So your red tulips image is such an adequate reminder! in my purchased lot there's one very similar in colour ('Île de France'), but single.
Triumph Tulip (Tulipa 'Ile de France')
Are your tulips normal sized or are they dwarf cultivars ( if they exist) better adapted to a rock garden setting? I do have great difficulty of estimating plant size from a photo... Smiling

Thank you all!
Just back in town from a long and grueling journey...missed it the other day.

Arturo, those are greggii tulips of some kind with lovely purple and white mottled leaves, about 15 inches/38 cm tall--not dwarf by any means but not tall either, good in the strong winds and stormy weather!
And, that's a very large rock Hilarious!

Outstanding composition given the severe constraints of the banner format. I tip my hat to you. Thumbs up
