Littlebin, thanks for posting the links to your posts! I enjoy seeing those gorgeous pics again.

Adelman peonies are truly amazing! I love their cut bouquet. Can't wait to put together a bouquet like that from my garden this spring.

Hiyamakki, I too would love to visit their garden someday.

I might visit Alderman this summer, I don't think I will be able to go anywhere, so road trip is fine. Looking forward to some. Ice Dungeness crab. Yay!

Thanks Annie, I'm rethinking this idea, I won't be going there until August/sept, will there be any peonies left to see.

No peonies left to see in Aug/Sept, unfortunately. Brooks Gardens suffered quite a bit of damage in the crazy weather early March, Therese just posted on FB about cleaning up fallen trees last weekend. I think both gardens are typically open to the public in late May into June during their heaviest bloom periods. I can tell you it is worth the visit if you can get out there during bloom season. Brooks is much smaller than Adelman's but both are worth visiting and both Therese and Carol are incredibly knowledgeable and willing to share their experience if you happen to see them. We visited Adelman's during the APS convention a few years ago. Brooks wasn't on the tour but we contacted them via email and planned a visit just before the convention started, Therese spent a few hours talking to us, wonderful experience!

Maybe I can just drive up and down for about a week. The seafood might lure me there, either that the crab fishing.
