Would like to see your blooms for spring. The bluebonnets have been blooming for a month.
The LA irises and amaryllis are blooming.

After the freeze, I'm just happy that these survived and making me smile. Hurray!

This rosebush was 6' tall when the Arctic Blast hit Central TX. It bent literally to the ground under the weight of 5" snow and 1" ice blanket on top for 3 days. Thought it might snap off from weight. Figured I'd lose it for sure. When all melted off, it stood back up. Half the thing did die and I cut off. All this is new growth from the ground crown and the bush that remained. It's already covered in buds about to open up! Just amazing.

Thanks, @Peggy8b. I think they're a type of LA iris.

Are those Gerber daisies? All the knockout roses are blooming.
Love the balloon flower...I sowed some seeds so maybe I'll have some soon.

LA iris have the darkest purple blooms (thought they were Black gamecock but was told they were not) but that's ok, 😍

Great after freeze advice in your blog about after the freeze. Everything is starting to bud ,bloom or booming! Its great! Thank God!
I lost my long stemmed rose shrub and I do not know the variety it was. I adopted the shub. I need to find another Hybrid Tea pest resistant ,disease resistant long stem variety to grow for the bouquet I donate unsure what to get. The only yellow rose I now have in bloom is the one depicted & in bloom now. "Sun Sprite"

I've pruned down the dead parts of plants that were bitten by the freeze.
Two of the hibiscuses that were planted in ground which I thought were dead is showing some growth. The red bleeding heart vine is coming back. The Rangoon creeper which I thought was also dead is showing new growth. Both brugs are sending up new growth.
The red poppies are finishing their blooming season and setting seed pods.
Still waiting on a Ti plant, confederate rose, and purple walking iris.

Thanks! I love balloon flowers. Yes, those yellow blooms are Gerbera daisies. Haven't planted them ever before and thought they'd look good on the back drive/patio. They seem happy there. They're in my view out the kitchen sink window. Your blooms are flourishing. Lovely photos. Smiling
