Thread OP

Hi everyone,
I'm looking for suggestions for what to plant in the big gap between the azalea bushes in front of my house. (see picture)
I am in New Jersey. Zone 5. House faces south. Partial shade.
Id like a blue spruce, but the ones I've seen grow too tall. I need some thing that won't grow higher than five or 6 feet, but will thicken into the space. It could also be more than one bush. I like pineneedles because I think they would contrast nicely with the azaleas, but I'm open to other suggestions.
Thanks,
Dave

I would leave that space as is yet run a dragon's breathe to cover the ground. It will bring the other shrubs alive and give them a place to grow. Just my thoughts...
