While working on my green wall (photos in appropriate forum soon to come)
I've been thinking about the semp poem, I'm considering making it an homage to my grandpa, he is who influenced his daughter (my mother) as well as me. He was a person who had an amazing "green thumb" and I have always felt it was hereditary, since I wasn't a farmer (living in an urban area) yet I always loved plants. At 12 I realized that forsythia branches could be planted after being cut off the parent plant (so guess what surrounded our family yard after that - glad my parents liked them)
The homage part would be to tie this hereditary gardening gene, with the word "sempervivum" meaning forever living.
Just thought I'd share what I've been thinking of
Anyone else??
