i just looked at both Polygonatum & Disporum in the data base and it looks like it could be either
seems more like Disporum but everything i read says it is not on the west coast
and this plant is growing wild several places on my property and else where
but Calflora says there are neither growing wild here
will keep looking

it is Prosartes smithii according to Cal Photos also called Disporum smithii
