I would like to plant some seeds of several species, and I have a question you can answer for any of the species you're familiar with. I will plant them in containers in a standard seed starting mix, or in another medium if it would be better for a given species. My problem is, I don't know if it would be better to put the containers indoors or outdoors.

I live in Central Texas, and our days are getting rather hot already. But I assume the outdoor sunshine would be good for germination. I can put them outside in any amount of sun or shade, and inside in full shade to part sun in a windowsill.

I will list the plants I may start from seed, and please tell me if you have an opinion about any of them as to whether I should put their containers inside or outside, and any other tips you have about a species. To be clear, I'm just talking about where to put the containers from the time I sow them to the time I transplant them into the patio containers where they will live.

Alyogyne huegelii (Blue Hibiscus)
Geum chiloense (Avens)
Gazania (Treasure Flower)
Evolvulus (Blue Daze)
Achillea (Yarrow)
Nepeta cultivars (Catmint)
Convolvulus sabatius (Blue Rock Bindweed)
Convolvulus tricolor
Abutilon hybrids
Anisodontea capensis (Cape Mallow)
Eryngium planum (Sea Holly)
Lobelia erinus (Edging Lobelia)
Lycianthes rantonetti (Blue Potato Bush / Paraguay Nightshade)
Tibouchina urvilleana
Fuchsia 'Dark Eyes' or similar. Not sure about growing this one from seed.

Where to germinate? Anything you happen to know about growing these seeds?
