Hi- So on 4/5 I direct sowed some Radish and carrot seeds outdoors in a raised bed, because the weather looked good enough. But about 4-5 days later night time temps hit between 24-32 degrees (F) 3 days in a row (I did cover them to try and keep it from freezing) but I don't see any signs of germination with my radish seeds as i know they are quick growers. Did the seeds die in the frost? do I replant them or wait it out to see if they germinate?

Thanks in advance!

Welcome HMG Welcome!

Carrot and radish seeds should both be able to survive frost. Radish seeds are supposedly able to survive a light freeze. Just be patient until your soil warms up a bit.

You might want to put your location or growing zone in your profile so we can better help with these types of questions.

Happy gardening. Be sure to come back and tell us how you crops did!
