Thread OP
Atlanta, GA
I am looking for a medium evergreen shrub (maybe need 3-5 feet tall, somewhat to fully compact, planted along a fence) that is native to the Georgia Piedmont that can take a good amount of afternoon sun and periods of drought after established. I need taller than most of the Ilex shrubs I've seen and my husband seems to be allergic to most Ilex as well. I am also aware of Wax Myrtle and might end up planting that if I can't find anything else, but wanted to ask to see if anyone had other suggestions- thanks!

This might get you started, you'll likely need to do some research for your specific site.
