Creating a small planting bed in the Landscape Design forum

I will be creating a small slightly raised planting bed using a line of 2 x 6 x 8' treated boards, and have a solid anchor point for each end of the 30 foot length. What would be the best way to attach the 2 x 6 x 8' boards to each other end to end and anchor them to the ground securely?
